Description

Hydrofluoroethers are compounds composed of hydrogen, fluorine, oxygen and carbon atoms, with ether structure, ozone depletion coefficient (ODP) is zero, global warming potential coefficient (GWP) is low, and the atmospheric residence time is very short, is considered an ideal substitute for CFCs. Hydrofluoroether has no flash point, and has good safety, solubility, permeability, compatibility, stability, wettability and dryness.

The EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) has identified HFEs as cleaning agents and refrigerants in the list of alternatives to Freon (SNAP list) and listed them as Acceptable (unlimited use).
