Immersion cooling
Operation principle: the electronic equipment such as the data center server and the storage facility is immersed in the fluorinated liquid directly, and the heat generated by the operation of the equipment is quickly transmitted to the fluorinated liquid, and the fluorinated liquid takes heat through natural convection or forced circulation, thereby realizing high efficiency heat radiation.
Advantages: compared with conventional air cooling systems, the immersion type cooling has a higher heat dissipation efficiency, effectively reducing the temperature of the equipment, increasing the operation stability and reliability of the equipment, and simultaneously reducing energy consumption and noise. Moreover, the insulation performance of the fluorinated liquid was avoided, such as the short circuit of the equipment, and the safety of the data center was improved.
Cold plate
Operation principle: the cold plate is a metal plate having a flow path inside, and the fluorinated liquid circulates through the flow path of the cold plate, the cold plate is closely adhered to the heat generating part of the electronic equipment, and heat is transmitted from the equipment to the fluorinated liquid through heat conduction, thereby realizing heat radiation.
Advantages: the cold plate cooling system can be applied to specific components such as CPU, GPU, etc., which can make accurate heat radiation to the local hot spots of the equipment, and have high demands for heat radiation. The flow of the fluorinated liquid in the cold plate can be precisely controlled according to the heating conditions of the equipment, and the heat radiation effect can be enhanced.
Shower cooling
Operation principle: the liquid is sprayed onto the surface of the electronic equipment in the form of mist or liquid droplets through the spray head, and the fluoride solution evaporates and absorbs heat on the surface of the apparatus, thereby bringing heat back to the surface of the apparatus, thereby realizing heat radiation.
Advantages: the shower cooling can directly spray the fluorinated liquid to the heat generating site of the equipment, and the heat radiation effect is good. At the same time, the evaporation of the fluorinated liquid can take a large amount of heat and lower the temperature of the equipment. The shower cooling system is relatively simple and low cost and is suitable for the scene where the heat radiation requirements are not particularly high.
Sensible
During the maintenance and maintenance of the data center electronics, the fluorinated liquid can be used as an efficient cleaning agent for removing contaminants such as dust, oil stains, fingerprints, etc. on the surface of the device. The fluorinated liquid has good solubility and volatility and can quickly dissolve and remove contaminants, leaving no residue after cleaning, and no corrosion and damage to the equipment.
