Description

Hydrofluoroether is a compound composed of hydrogen, fluorine, oxygen and carbon atoms with an ether structure. It has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero, a low global warming potential (GWP), and a short atmospheric lifetime, making it an ideal alternative to CFCs.

Hydrofluoroether has no flash point and exhibits excellent safety, solubility, permeability, compatibility, stability, wettability and drying performance.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has classified hydrofluoroether as a cleaning agent and refrigerant under the Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) list of refrigerant alternatives, designated as Acceptable for unrestricted use.
